Job Opportunity: SEC Reporting & Technical Director









Our esteemed client, a well-renowned leader in the insurance industry, is seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to join their finance team as the SEC Reporting Director. This is a permanent position based in the heart of the financial district.




Role and Responsibilities:


  • Lead the preparation and filing of all external financial reporting, including SEC filings.
  • Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) across all reporting.
  • Assist investor relations department prepare quarterly earnings releases.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather, analyze, and prepare financial information.
  • Implement and maintain reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements.
  • Stay updated with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations and ensure all reporting is aligned with current laws and standards.
  • Handle the documentation and reporting of financial performance for external stakeholders.
  • Manage a team of financial professionals, guiding them in their professional development and career growth.


Key Skills:


  • In-depth knowledge of Statutory Reporting and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Solid experience in Regulatory Reporting and maintaining compliance with SEC guidelines.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines and respond to changing business needs and regulatory environments.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Experience in the insurance industry is highly preferred.
