Oliver James is looking for a Business Analyst for a major insurance company in Belgium.
Context
Business Analysts are needed to work on our Core Insurance Renewal Program (CIR). CIR is a multiyear program and one of the largest programs our Insurance Business and Technology departments have worked on together, in a unparalleled atmosphere with a fun & competent group of colleagues on both sides. Its overall goal is to transfer all our insurance life products from the legacy systems to our target SaaS Platform, Axon.
Tasks & Challenges:
- Identify, understand and document the business needs related to life insurance individual or business products
- Translate the needs into requirements of new life insurance products (at product / Claims / Output level) and of product migrations
- Validate requirements with stakeholders
- Analyse and document changes to the already implemented products
- Analyse and describe applicative changes to the Core System or regarding its interfaces
- Assess the impact on existing processes and outline new processes - Maintain documentation
- Perform initial testing after delivery
Knowledge & Experience:
A must:
- knowledge of and years of working experience with life Insurance products (you are familiar with policies, claims, output and documentation),
- previous business and process analysis working experience on insurance products
Desirable:
- experienced in functional Analysis - used to work in Agile project mode
A plus:
- you performed business testing and are used to Scrum and Agile methodologies
Your profile
- You are bilingual (NL / FR) and fluent in English
- You are a team player and a good communicator
- You have good analytical skills and an affinity with IT
- You combine a strong focus on results with a punctual and accurate work approach.
