Accounting Manager - Finance
Our client, a leading health plan, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional for an Accounting Manager position in their Finance department. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a dynamic and expanding organization.
Role & Responsibilities:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Supervisory experience
- Experience working with multiple financial systems
- Advanced competency in MS Office products, specifically Excel
- Proven ability to attract, retain and develop talent
- Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with a solid sense of urgency and project/time management skills
- Proven excellent communication skills along with the ability to condense complex information so that it is both easy to digest and actionable in application
- Proven excellent process management skills
- Proven solid team player, results oriented, metrics driven and capable of working in a fast paced, changing environment
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Proven experience in a similar leadership role within the Finance domain.
- In-depth knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Ability to drive results, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualification
- CPA or CPA candidate and public accounting experience
- Healthcare industry experience
