Our leading Insurance client is seeking an experienced Application Development Manager who will be pivotal in designing and implementing Insurance-specific solutions.
You will oversee the support and advancement of critical applciation, including Policy/Claims administration, workflow management tools, secure data transport systems, customer service software & communication management services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of application solutions to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, testers, and deployment teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Partner with business users to analyze requirements and provide best-practice recommendations.
- Manage application platforms, ensuring their reliability, scalability, and security.
- Resolve complex system issues and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
- Oversee project timelines, priorities, and deliverables to align with organizational goals.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for system changes and processes.
- Foster strong relationships across business and technical teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 6+ years of experience in application development, support, and implementation, including web services.
- In-depth knowledge of the insurance domain, particularly annuities, life insurance, commissions, and financial transactions.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience fostering diverse, high-performing teams and evaluating staff performance.
- Commitment to staying current with emerging technologies and best practices.
