A leading insurance carrier is looking to hire a AVP Reinsurance for their casualty claims team. In this role, you will be a technical lead within the claims team and handle complex cases, whilst also providing technical guidance and oversight for other Adjusters. Claims will range from mid to complex reinsurance casualty cases include large losses.
Key/Skills Experience Required:
- 5+ years casualty claims experience, with exposure to complex loses
- Reinsurance claims experience highly preferred but insurance background considered
- Exposure to litigation and coverage investigation essential
- Exceptional customer service capability. Excellent relationship management capability
- Strong data & analytical skills including advanced MS Excel
- Bachelors Degree essential. Adjuster License highly preferred.
This role is on a hybrid schedule from Stamford CT (3 days in office/2 days remote) with an excellent salary of $155,000-$185,000 plus up to 15% annual bonus, along with a clear career path for the future. Please note this role must be located in Stamford CT so we can only consider candidates currently living in CT or willing to relocate to CT.
