Our client is a leading global bank seeking to hire an Audit Manager to join their Global Markets audit team in New York City.
This is a critical role in which the successful applicant will execute on a range of audits related to global markets and equities lines of business.
What you will do:
- Lead internal audits of the global equities, research and future/options business lines as well as electronic trading activities.
- Act as a lead auditor overseeing the testing work and ensuring it is conducted in a timely manner and with the highest of standards.
- Continuously assess the impacts to business processes and controls and assign a severity rating.
- Oversee a team of associates and others who will report to you on various audit engagements.
- Manage the relationship with senior stakeholders in the front office as well as their counterparts in risk and compliance functions.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, finance or similar.
- CFA, FRM, CIA or relevant securities licenses are preferred.
- Experience in working in a large financial institution bank or brokerage house.
This role requires 3 days in the office and 2 days at home arrangement.
