Oliver James are partnered with a leading insurer in the BPA market on the continued growth of their pricing team. You will get exposure to a wide range of transactions of various sizes. This team has very little attrition due to the high job satisfaction and excellent culture on the team, so we only support them when they need to grow; which is a very common occurrence.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
- Part qualified actuary
- Excellent DB pensions knowledge
- Experience in pension risk transfer (buy-ins/buy-outs)
This role is excellent for a part qualified actuary in consultancy that is looking to move in house, anyone from a rival BPA provider in a pricing role would be considered a priority hire for the team but any pensions actuaries with pension risk transfer experience could be a good fit for the role.
