We are seeking a highly skilled Duck Creek Business Analyst to join their team. With a focus on API development, they are looking for an individual with extensive knowledge of Duck Creek systems who is willing to dive into the details. As a Duck Creek Business Analyst for our client, you will play a crucial role in supporting technical queries related to DuckCreek Policy Center and collaborating closely with developers to ensure successful API development. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience, possess strong code reading capabilities, excellent documentation skills, and demonstrate exceptional customer service and emotional intelligence when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert support for API development initiatives, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of Duck Creek systems.
- Dive into the nitty-gritty details of code, examining requests, and identifying fields, with the ability to read and comprehend complex code structures.
- Collaborate closely with developers to understand technical requirements and translate them into actionable tasks.
- Offer day-to-day support for technical queries related to Duck Creek Policy Center, troubleshooting issues, and providing effective solutions.
- Utilize your expertise in Duck Creek systems to ensure accurate and timely API development.
- Develop comprehensive documentation using tools such as Excel, MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, clearly outlining requirements, specifications, and development guidelines.
- Demonstrate excellent document creation skills, producing high-quality materials that serve as valuable resources for the development team.
- Engage in effective communication and coordination with third-party vendors, partner companies, and internal teams to address issues and ensure seamless integration.
- Display strong emotional intelligence, understanding and responding to the needs and concerns of stakeholders in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in Duck Creek systems and related technologies, actively seeking opportunities to enhance processes and improve efficiencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on Duck Creek systems.
- In-depth knowledge of Duck Creek Policy Center and its associated APIs.
- Strong ability to read and understand code, with a keen eye for details.
- Experience in API development and a solid understanding of API concepts and best practices.
- Proficient in creating detailed documentation using tools such as Excel, MS Office, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated emotional intelligence, with the ability to navigate and resolve conflicts and build positive relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively identify and address issues.
