A leading insurance carrier is looking to hire a Claims Manager - Builder's Risk & Construction. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for managing a team of 6 claims professionals who are handling mid to complex builders risk and construction defect / property damage claims. Along with driving performance of the team, you wil be a technical referral point for complex claims matters within builder's risk and construction property damage areas.
- 5+ years leadership experience within builder's risk and construction claims (property damage)
- The ability to drive performance and grow a claims team, including managing senior claims examiners
- Excellent technical knowledge of complex builder's risk and 1st party construction claims
- Extensive exposure to litigation and coverage investigation essential
- Exceptional customer service capability. Excellent relationship management capability
- Extensive experience working for an insurance carrier and /or a TPA. Construction industry experience also considered.
This role is on a hybrid schedule from either NY, NJ, PA, CT, GA, IL, AZ, FL or MA (3 days in office/2 days remote) with an excellent salary up to $175,000 plus up to 20% annual bonus, along with a clear career path to Vice President. Please note we can only consider candidates willing to work 3 days in office from these states.
