Role Overview
As a Cloud Security Engineer specializing in Cloudflare, you will be a crucial player in our CISO Customer Security Operation & Security Engineering Team. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Deploying, supporting, and maintaining Cloudflare solutions in a Dual Layer WAF Strategy.
- Participating in security and business projects on our roadmap.
- Resolving incidents related to our security products and solutions.
- Contributing to automation and continuous improvement processes.
- Engaging in the Watch Duty role (24/7/365) to address evolving threats within our Global Cyber Security team.
- Assisting in the team's transformation to Agile methodologies.
Technical Skills Required
- Practical experience with Cloudflare and Cloudflare WAF.
- Strong understanding of the OSI model's 7 layers.
- Proficient in HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, TLS/mTLS.
- Familiarity with authentication technologies such as SAML and OAuth.
- Experience with Imperva WAF/WAAP (on-premise, SAAS, and Cloud).
- Development skills in Python (additional languages are a plus).
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Terraform/Ansible and automation.
- Expertise in a specific technical domain, even outside the mentioned areas.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps.
- CISSP and/or OSCP certifications are advantageous.
Additional Skills
- Understanding of PKI.
- Experience with reverse proxies like Apache HTTPD and NGINX.
- Linux/Unix System Engineering (RedHat).
- Proficiency in English.
