Data Analyst (Dynamic CRM) - Manchester Hybrid

Our client is looking for Data Analyst who has previous experience working Dynamics CRM Support to join our client who are a leading engineering end to end risk management solutions business.

This role cannot sponsorship unfortunately.

Role Overview: As a Data Analyst you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients by ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of their Dynamics CRM systems. You will Lead the delivery of work across a range of project portfolios across IS systems landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Across a the project portfolio you will gather requirements, prepare functional and process design documents, provide support to developers, prepare acceptance test scripts and data, execute acceptance tests, and support end user training and acceptance testing.
  • Analyse business process models to identify where existing or new technology can be used to improve operational efficiencies.
  • Working with a range of data analysis tools to provide business insight to drive educated decision making as part of the broader project.
  • Working with key stakeholders from across the business to identify needs, propose solutions, evaluate changes and manage their expectations.
  • Deliver end user training on a train the trainer basis to support the successful operational adoption of system changes.

Qualifications:

  • Experience using and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365, or another enterprise CRM, ERP and\or enterprise Finance systems.
  • Experience delivering supporting applications. E.g. Power apps, web technologies and mobile apps.
  • Some exposure to the insurance, engineering services industries, ideally within a merger and acquisition environment.
  • Proven experience in the analysis and preparation of requirements, documentation of system functional and process designs, and the preparation and execution of acceptance test scripts.
  • Some hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies and platforms, particularly Dynamics 365 (CE or F&O) and Power Platform.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience of influencing the enablement of business process change throughout multi-disciplined teams (e.g. implementation of Agile, DevOps, CI\CD and data reporting practices).
  • A bachelor's degree in business, IS or a related field.
  • Certification in Microsoft technologies and platforms, particularly Dynamics and Power Platform technologies.
  • Exposure to some business relevant programming language (e.g., SQL, VBA etc).

  • Support the Change Management department in implementing and managing changes related to Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (F&O) and Customer Engagement (CE).
  • Closely collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Analyze current business processes and propose innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Create and maintain documentation, including business process flows, user stories, and test cases.
  • Conduct system testing and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) processes.
  • Provide end-user training and support during system implementations and upgrades.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest features and functionality of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (F&O) and Customer Engagement (CE) to optimize system utilization.




Key Skills



  • Proven experience working as a Business Analyst, preferably with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (F&O) and/or Customer Engagement (CE).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in facilitating workshops and conducting interviews to gather business requirements.
  • Ability to create and maintain documentation, including functional specifications, user stories, and test cases.
  • Understanding of change management principles and methodologies.
  • Experience with system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) processes.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in the construction industry will be highly regarded.
  • Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (F&O) and/or Customer Engagement (CE) will be an advantage.
