DevOps Engineer
Our client, a prominent leader in the banking industry, is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join their innovative Information Technology department. This is a permanent position based in their dynamic office headquarters.
Role and Responsibilities
- Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies on premises and in the cloud.
- Collaborate closely with the software engineering team to deploy and operate systems.
- Help automate and streamline operations and processes.
- Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments.
- Facilitate technology stack enhancements and upgrades.
- Ensure critical system security through the use of best in class cloud security solutions.
Key Skills
- 5+ years experience in a DevOps role
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms - Ideally Azure
- Experience in CI/ CD and tools - Teamcity and/ or Maven
- Knowledge of JVM is a huge benefit
- Knowledge of Java and Java EE technologies is a bonus.
- Extensive experience in Jenkins is a must
- Effective problem solving and communication skills.
