An excellent leading global insurance firm in the search for an Interim accountant for a 12 month FTC to maternity cover. This will sit in an establish but growing finance operations team.
As an interim accountant you will be responsible for assisting with month end activities - balance sheet reconciliations, data analysis, supporting the accounts payable function liaising with the internal tax teams, support the launch of new products, help with the integration of new systems and processes.
As an interim accountant you will be responsible for assisting with month end activities - balance sheet reconciliations, data analysis, supporting the accounts payable function liaising with the internal tax teams, support the launch of new products, help with the integration of new systems and processes. The wider responsibilities will include designing, documenting and implementing new controls and key process is and helping to drive improvements for automation.
To be considered candidates must be:
- Qualified accountant or qualified by experience
- previous experience preparing balance sheet reconciliations, strong data skills
- strong understanding of process and controls
- experience within automation would be excellent
- Background working within insurance, general or reinsurance ideally.
