Oliver James is currently keen to speak with newly qualified financial accountants with an interest in the insurance and reinsurance field. We are recruiting on behalf of a global leader within the space who are eager to speak with strong financial accountants.
This exciting role will work in a multinational group environment. The role will have a particular focus on a major international segment of the company and will involve extensive interaction with finance and management functions at both Group Head Office and segment level.
Key Responsibilities;
- Assisting with the delivery of the quarterly group reporting submissions to Head Office.
- Preparing commentaries which analyse the key drivers of results.
- Assisting with the delivery of monthly investment reporting through the group investment management system.
- Assisting with the preparation of the annual financial plan and quarterly reforecast projections.
- Liaising with external and internal auditors on deliverables and queries.
Who You Are;
- Newly qualified accountant.
- Strong technical accounting skills - broad and detailed knowledge of the IFRS reporting standards (with exposure to IFRS 17 a distinct advantage).
- Enthusiasm for technical/analytical work, and strong attention to detail
