Firewall Engineer

Our client, a renowned leader in the Transportation and Logistics industry, is seeking to expand their team with a professional who is passionate about network security and system protection.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage network firewalls.
- Analyze and establish security requirements for the company's networks.
- Conduct regular system tests and ensure continuous monitoring of network security.
- Develop risk management strategies to avoid unnecessary risks.
- Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain firewall software and hardware.
- Ensure compliance with the latest industry practices in network security.
Key Skills:
- Expertise in firewall technologies and network security methods.
- Strong understanding of Palo Alto firewalls.
- Skilled in security system analysis, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Aruba Network is desirable
- Excellent communication skills are a must have.
- Experience with industry-standard security frameworks and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in managing tight deadlines and high-pressure situations in a dynamic business setting.
- Reliable and ethical, with a strong focus on security and business confidentiality.
This is a hybrid role and you will be required to visit the Dublin city centre office twice a week.
