My client, a top Real Estate Asset Manager is looking for a Fund Accountant to join their expanding team to handle internal fund accounting. Our client works on a hybrid basis in downtown Chicago, offers competitive compensation, comprehensive health, PTO and retirement benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support monthly/quarterly/year-end closes and journal entries

• Perform bank recs and assist with financial performance reporting

• Review JV financials and assist with cash management (e.g. capital calls)

• Respond to investor inquiries and support reporting, audit, and tax processes

• Drive process improvements and support global finance projects

• Coordinate with partners, fund managers, and global teams

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of accounting experience, Bachelor's in Accounting

• CPA preferred or willing to pursue

• Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills

• Detail-oriented, team player, able to work independently

• Proficient in Excel and general ledger systems

• Willing to work flexible hours when needed
