Job Title: Head of Infrastructure

I am supporting a leading European business who is hiring for a Head of Infrastructure to join the team. You will drive its transformation into a cutting-edge digital institution. This critical leadership ensures a secure, high-performance IT platform that embraces the future of cloud, AI, and machine learning.
Your Role:
- Lead a team of approximately 40 IT professionals in areas such as network security, data centres, virtualization, and storage.
- Ensure 24/7 secure operations and lifecycle management for IT systems.
- Develop infrastructure aligned with future needs, focusing on hybrid cloud and AI/ML platforms.
- Foster collaboration across departments to deliver user-centric IT services.
- Contribute to large-scale renovation projects integrating IT infrastructure.
Your Profile
- Degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
- Proven leadership and project management experience, with strong communication skills.
- Expertise in IT operations, cloud, digital workplaces, and AI/ML solutions.
- Customer-focused with experience in service level management.
- Fluent in German
