Health Insurance Transformation Consultant - in-house

Our Client is a huge Multinational corporation within FS industry is currently looking for a Big 4 consultant ready to make a strategic move to an in-house role. This is an amazing opportunity to smoothly transition to the in-house role that will still have components of consulting and transformation/project management.




Role and Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Implementation:
- Assist in translating company's overarching health strategy into actionable execution plans, including roadmaps, milestones, and deliverables.
- Organize and support the execution of complex and critical health projects between Local Business Units (LBUs) and Group Health.

Stakeholder Engagement and Resource Management:
- Oversee finance and budgeting for health initiatives to ensure effective business case governance within annual and three-year business plans, including fund allocation at both the Group center and LBU levels.
- Communicate execution plans and target operating models with key organizational stakeholders, aligning with the Company's strategic pillars such as customer, distribution, finance, product development, and operations. Establish interdependencies and shared outcomes.
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure projects remain on scope, schedule, and budget; identify risks, flag impediments, and escalate issues as necessary.
- Collaborate on developing a new target operating model that enhances cooperation between Group and LBUs for delivering health initiatives.
- Work with Group center and LBUs to execute vendor partnership agreements while conducting necessary commercial due diligence.
- Partner with internal and external technology teams to design and implement a strategic technology roadmap aimed at building essential digital health capabilities.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Establish a framework to track progress against initiative targets and outcomes, proposing action plans for improvement when needed.
- Support regular reviews and analyses of performance data to identify improvement areas and inform decision-making.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:
- Consulting background with a strong understanding of health insurance.
- A thought partner mentality, able to engage collaboratively with stakeholders.
Desirables:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in a related field.
- 2+ years of project management experience / PMO-BA capacity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience working across multiple Asian markets.
- Strategic thinker with a focus on execution.
- Skilled in cross-functional collaboration, identifying synergies among teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently, proactively identify opportunities and take ownership.
