Accountable for the prompt execution of risk-focused audits covering underwriting, claims, and compliance, in alignment with the annual audit plan and company regulations, while also supporting additional audit-related tasks and projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and review audit scope with the audit manager.
- Perform audits within set timelines to ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines across claims and underwriting.
- Document findings, complete checklists, and draft detailed reports.
- Communicate audit results and collaborate with departments to address issues.
- Stay updated on regulations, claims trends, and underwriting guidelines to refine audit processes.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. and international regulatory obligations, including financial crime policies and licensing requirements.
Skills & Knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
- Strong communication, ethical judgement, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and compliance standards.
- Effective organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and under tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel domestically (10% annually)
