IT / Digital Business Analyst - Top Tier Financial Firm

Responsibilities

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in the whole solution delivery journey from ideation through to rollout and support
• 3+ years of practical experience in working closely with developers on scheduling, driving implementation and resolving development related issues
• Prefer to possess experience in life and health insurance, specifically agency new business and ePOS/eApp journey
• Prefer to have experience in driving and leading delivery of insurance solutions
• Experience working in small-team environment with PO, BA's, developers and testers to ensure smooth solution delivery with high quality
• Have sense in knowing when to step in to remove blockages throughout the solution delivery journey
• Naturally curious in understanding and finding solution to problems
• Mature and independent, pro-active and not afraid to speak up when situation dictates
• Have attention to detail
• Good communications skills and able to describe problems with teammates in concise and easy-to-understand way

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree holder, preferable in information technology or related discipline.
  * Minimum 4 to 5 years of BA and/or testing related experience in banking/insurance/financial industry.
  * Experience in pension business related IT projects is a definite advantage.
  * Experience in onshore and offshore resources management and vendor management.
  * Understanding of common software development models and methodologies e.g. Waterfall, Agile and DevOps.
  * Good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills; willing to build partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
  * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, particularly in integrating and recommending various complicated IT / business solutions; Strong planning and time management skills.
