Life & Health Closing Actuary - IFRS17 & Solvency II
Our client, a global leader in the actuarial field, offers a diverse and innovative range of reinsurance and insurance solutions to help clients manage and control risk. They are looking to expand their Life & Health Actuarial Closing team.
The Closing Actuary will be responsible for reviewing and reporting on consolidated life actuarial metrics, both under IFRS17 and Solvency II standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering Life technical reporting to downstream systems under both Solvency II and IFRS17, ensuring data quality, actuarial guidance, and analysis of consolidated results.
- Implementing an end-to-end global target operating model and process, optimizing the delivery of Solvency II and IFRS17 reporting and analysis requirements.
- Collaborating closely with various teams, such as the L&H Financial Technical Reporting team, Group Chief Accounting Officer teams, and L&H Business Unit Operations.
To be successful, we are looking for:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience and a strong understanding of actuarial methodologies and financial reporting processes.
- In-depth knowledge of Solvency II and IFRS17 standards.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Fluency in both English and French (written and spoken) due to the international scope of the role.
