Manager, Financial Reporting
Our client, a well-established leader in the insurance industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Financial Reporting to join their dynamic finance team. This is a permanent position based in their corporate office.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the financial reporting process to ensure compliance with all statutory reporting requirements pertaining to the insurance industry.
- Lead the consolidation of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles financial statements, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
- Coordinate and prepare regulatory reports related to Property and Casualty required by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for improved financial reporting processes.
- Provide leadership and direction to the financial reporting team, ensuring professional growth and adherence to industry standards.
- Engage with auditors and regulatory bodies to address any inquiries or compliance issues.
Key Skills:
- Robust knowledge of statutory reporting and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles as they pertain to the insurance industry.
- Proven experience in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles consolidations.
- Strong understanding of Property and Casualty Regulatory Reporting as required by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
