Manager, Financial Reporting

Our esteemed client, a prominent leader in the Insurance industry, is currently seeking a highly proficient and dedicated professional to join their Finance team as a Manager - Financial Reporting. This is a permanent position based in their dynamic headquarters.

Role & Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) across all financial documentation and reporting.
• Prepare 10-Ks and 10-Qs for SEC reporting process
• Collaborate with internal audit teams to assess and implement improvements in financial processes and controls.
• Manage and guide a team of finance professionals, overseeing their growth and performance in alignment with company objectives.
• Coordinate with external regulators and auditors during periodic audits and reviews.
• Provide strategic financial insights to senior management to aid in long-term financial planning.

Key Requirements / Skills

• Big Four public accounting background STRONGLY preferred
• CPA designation REQUIRED
• Extensive knowledge of SEC Reporting, 10-ks 10-Qs, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Profound expertise in Financial Reporting and Reporting.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, capable of articulating financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
