Medior C# BackEnd Software Engineer

The job : We are looking for a Medior BackEnd Software Engineer with 2-5 years of experience in designing and coding backend software applications. This role involves comprehending functional designs, creating and executing test cases, modifying existing programs, and conducting code reviews. You will be responsible for resolving incidents and errors, performing technical integration testing, and ensuring the seamless operation of our applications.
- Understand and implement functional designs.
- Develop program structures based on technical designs.
- Create and execute test cases, and modify existing programs for production.
- Update design documents with related changes.
- Conduct self and peer code reviews.
- Resolve assigned incidents and s, and track them to closure.
- Perform technical integration testing of the application in relation with interfacing applications.
Your profile :
- Proven experience in software development (2 - 5 years).
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming (C#) and familiarity with Java, SQL, PL/SQL and Python.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly understand user requirements.
- Interest in financial markets, particularly equity and equity derivatives (experience is a plus).
- Ability to provide qualitative solutions while maintaining existing processes and systems.
- Eager to learn, innovative, and team-oriented.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
- Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Detail-oriented and capable of working in a support environment.
- Ability to work under stress and availability to work on weekends/holidays when required.
