Position Overview: We are looking for a Microsoft BI Developer to join our IT department. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing, and implementing reporting solutions for various departments, including Commercial, Back-office, Finance, HR, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand user needs in an analytical context and translate them into technical specifications.
- Contribute to building and maintaining our data architecture and structures.
- Present data in clear, actionable reports.
- Document each step of the process meticulously.
- Work under the supervision of the Data/BI Architect.
- Participate in end-to-end projects across different domains, handling both long-term initiatives and day-to-day tasks.
Your Profile:
- 5+ years of professional experience.
- Expertise in Microsoft BI tools (end-to-end).
- Curious with a deep interest in understanding the business.
- Self-sufficient with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and analytical with problem-solving capabilities.
- Logical and composed, with a collaborative mindset.
- Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Language Skills:
- French: Primary working language.
- Dutch: A plus.
- English: A plus.
Technical Skills:
- Solid understanding of database concepts and RDBMS.
- Proficiency in SQL/T-SQL (MS SQL Server).
- Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing methodologies.
- Experience with Microsoft BI suite (SSIS,SSAS,SSRS).
- SSIS transformations for data import and transformation.
- Data Warehouse creation with SSAS cubes and Tabular Model.
- Knowledge of reporting and data visualization tools, especially Power BI.
- Familiarity with DAX, Power Query, Power Pivot.
