About the Role
We are partnered with one of Switzerland's leading fintech companies to recruit an experienced Modern Workplace Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to design, implement, and support tools and platforms that enable modern work environments for internal end users.
This position provides the chance to innovate and enhance advanced workplace technologies while working collaboratively with multiple departments. This role involves staying up to date with the latest technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering secure and efficient workplace solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support tools and platforms enabling modern work environments for internal end users.
- Continuously enhance workplace infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration of devices and software solutions.
- Provide technical assistance and solutions to ensure a smooth working experience.
- Train the service desk on workplace-related topics to improve troubleshooting skills.
- Collaborate with other teams, especially security, to meet secure workplace requirements.
- Stay current with the latest technology and suggest innovative solutions to improve the modern workplace.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support, as well as 24/7 on-call support availability when needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Several years of experience in the engineering and administration of modern workplace solutions, specifically Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), Entra ID, and Microsoft 365.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, and general Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Expertise in PowerShell scripting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a service-oriented attitude.
- Motivated, committed, and quality-focused approach to work.
- Knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops is a plus.
- Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education in IT.
- Preferred certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified Modern Desktop Administrator or Enterprise Administrator Expert.
- Excellent communication skills in English; German is a distinct advantage.
