We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Corporate Paralegal to join a client of ours, international law firm. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with the legal team on a wide range of corporate matters for our global clientele. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal support.
Responsibilities:
Corporate Document Preparation: Draft, review, and revise corporate governance documents, including articles of incorporation, bylaws, resolutions, and minutes.
Due Diligence: Conduct due diligence investigations and prepare related reports for mergers, acquisitions, and corporate transactions.
Transaction Support: Assist attorneys with transactional matters, including entity formations, mergers, acquisitions, and dissolutions.
Legal Research: Conduct legal research and analysis on corporate law issues, regulations, and precedent.
Client Interaction: Communicate directly with clients to gather information and coordinate document execution and filings.
Document Management: Organize and maintain corporate records, minute books, and transactional documents in electronic and physical files.
Compliance Assistance: Assist in ensuring corporate compliance with relevant laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- At least 1 year of experience as a corporate paralegal in a law firm or corporate legal department (fresh graduates are welcomed).
- Strong understanding of corporate law principles, procedures, and regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
