Job Title: Platform Engineer
Job Type: Full-time (80% - 100%)
Location: Zurich (hybrid and flexible)
We've partnered with the leading health tech company, and they are looking for a Platform Engineer / Linux Engineer to enhance their technical capabilities and support developers in modernising and optimising systems and services. This role focuses on maintaining and advancing a Kubernetes-based environment, providing scalable infrastructure, and assisting teams in building, deploying, and managing applications.
You will also manage essential services such as CI/CD platforms, container registries, monitoring systems, and virtualised environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and operate a Kubernetes-based, multi-cluster environment.
Automate CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and monitoring processes in on-premise or hybrid cloud environments.
Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of container infrastructure.
Provide a seamless developer experience for internal software teams.
Key Qualifications:
Proficiency with Linux and command-line interfaces.
Basic software development experience (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java).
Strong "Everything-as-Code" mindset with a commitment to high automation and quality standards.
Experience with containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and IaC tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Ansible).
Knowledge of Git and GitOps practices.
High commitment to quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
Experience with public cloud environments is a plus.
Proficiency in both written and spoken German and English.
