Product Owner - Health Insurance
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to lead the development and enhancement of health insurance products and digital solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining product vision, managing the product backlog, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative health insurance solutions that meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for health insurance products.
- Align product initiatives with business goals and market trends to enhance customer experience.
- Identify opportunities for digital transformation and automation in health insurance services.
Product Development & Execution
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, and customers to ensure successful product delivery.
- Develop and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers to create customer-centric digital experiences.
- Define and track key product KPIs to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
- Collaborate with underwriters, actuaries, sales, marketing, and compliance teams to define product requirements.
- Work with IT and development teams in an Agile environment to deliver product increments.
- Communicate product updates and progress to senior management and stakeholders.
Regulatory & Compliance
- Ensure health insurance products comply with industry regulations, data privacy laws, and company policies.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and adapt product strategies accordingly.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Product Manager, preferably in the health insurance or fintech industry.
- Strong knowledge of health insurance products, claims processing, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Proficiency in product management tools like Jira, Aha!, or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with API integrations and digital transformation in insurance.
- Knowledge of AI/ML applications in health insurance.
- Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager are a plus.
