Professional to Senior Systems Engineer

Our partner, an innovative software company specialising in digital solutions for the financial sector, is looking for a Professional to Senior Systems Engineer to contribute to the evolution of their platform.
Your Responsibilities
- Cloud & Virtualisation: Oversee MS365 Cloud (Entra, Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Defender, etc.), SeppMailCloud, VMware ESXi hypervisors, and vSphere management.
- Windows Client Management: Automate setup, patching, and software management using SCCM.
- Network Administration: Manage Cisco Catalyst switches (VLAN, Spanning Tree, etc.) and FortiNet firewalls (VLAN, VPN, Ruleset, Routing, WLAN).
- Storage Management: Configure Brocade Fibrechannel switches (Zoning, Dual-path).
- Linux Server Hosting: Work with RedHat/Debian distributions, Apache HTTPd, shell scripting, SSL certificate management, NFS shares, and SMTP Mail-MTA.
- Windows Server Hosting: Manage Active Directory, file and print servers, application servers (Abacus, Finfox, SQL), Veeam backups, Azure AD sync, and SCCM-based patch/software management.
Your Profile
- Solid experience in networking, system administration, and cloud technologies.
- Hands-on expertise with Linux and Windows server environments.
- Knowledge of VMware virtualisation and cloud-based infrastructures.
- Strong understanding of security, backup strategies, and automation.
- CCNA-level networking skills and experience with FortiNet firewalls are a plus.
- Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).
