Senior Python Engineer - Banking
Our client, a prestigious player in the Banking industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Python Engineer to join their innovative Information Technology team. Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain APIs for both internal systems and external customers.
- Build and enhance automation pipelines to meet business requirements.
- Identify and resolve issues across various environments.
- Partner closely with DevOps to address deployment and infrastructure needs.
- Work with Frontend developers to integrate and utilise API data.
- Promote high coding standards, conduct code reviews, and guide best practices
Skills:
- 5+ years experience in Python Development.
- Strong understanding building APIs with Python.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Experience with Azure/ AWS/ GCP is a bonus.
- Experience with Flask, Django, or similar is a nice to have.
- Experience in Data science/ analytics is a plus.
- Strong communication and problem solving skills are a must have.
- Familiarity with pipeline automation & process scheduling
