Leading player within the Bulk Annuity market seeking a qualified actuary to join their Reinsurance team as part of their Retirement Solutions business
Oliver James are pleased to be working with a leading player in the Bulk Annuity market seeking a qualified actuary to join their Reinsurance team as part of their Retirement Solutions business.
Within this role you will be predominantly responsible for supporting on the delivery of reinsurance solutions for the Retirement Solutions business, including sourcing and assessing flow and facultative reinsurance options and support deal execution in a structuring and project management capacity. You will perform analytical analysis to check the viability of prospective longevity swap and funded reinsurance transactions and making recommendations in due course.
Role requirements:
- FIA qualified with post qualification experience
- Extensive experience in DB pensions consulting with a keen interest in BPA reinsurance, or like for like experience in a reinsurance or DB de-risking capacity
- Experience in structuring and executing transactions would be advantageous
