For a leading international company operating in the Pharma field, I'm looking for a Sales Excellence Manager who will play a critical role in enhancing the performance of the internal sales team by developing and managing sales strategies, incentive programs, and performance metrics. This position requires a blend of analytical skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of pharmaceutical sales processes.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy Development:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define sales objectives and strategies aligned with company goals
  • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement

Incentive Program Management:

  • Design, implement, and manage effective incentive programs to motivate and reward the sales team
  • Monitor program effectiveness and make adjustments based on performance metrics and feedback

Performance Metrics and Analytics:

  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess sales effectiveness and team performance
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, providing insights and recommendations to improve results

Process Improvement:

  • Identify and address inefficiencies in sales processes to enhance productivity and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve communication and support for the sales force

Sales Tools and Resources:

  • Evaluate and implement sales tools and technologies that support the sales team's efforts
  • Ensure that sales representatives have access to up-to-date product information and marketing materials

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including marketing, medical affairs, and finance teams
  • Act as a liaison between the sales team and executive leadership to communicate progress and challenges

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a focus on sales performance and incentive management
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing successful sales strategies and incentive programs
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and motivating others
  • Proficiency in Excel and CRM software and sales analytics tools
  • Proficiency in English is a must
