Security Architect
Location: Zurich (Hybrid: 2-3 days in the office)

Oliver James is partnering with one of Switzerlands most important organisations who are embarking on a project to enhance their IT Security Services. We are seeking a Security Architect to improve and refine their security architecture and strategy.
This role involves assessing current security systems, designing robust security frameworks, and ensuring the integration of security measures across all IT functions as they start the redevelopment and expansion of the department. You will also develop security policies and procedures, evaluate and implement security technologies, and provide guidance on security risks and mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine IT security architecture.
- Define and implement security requirements.
- Support IT security strategy and process optimisation.
- Advise on security for departmental projects and lead cross-IT initiatives.
- Explore new technologies and applications based on evolving security trends.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field with a focus on cyber security.
- Several years of experience as an IT Security Architect or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of IT governance, architecture, and technologies.
- Proficiency in German and good English skills.
