Senior Reinsurance Accountant

Our client, a leading (re)Insurance specialty lines carrier, currently seeking a strong Senior Accountant to join their Finance team.

Role & Responsibilities:

Support the Month-End, Quarter-End, Year-End Reinsurance Reporting process
Communicate with Accounting & Finance team about reports
Perform financial analysis and reporting related to reinsurance transactions
Collaborate with the reinsurance contract team to help understand process improvement
Understand settlement and negotiation of reinsurance contracts

Key Skills:

Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
2+ years of Insurance specific accounting experience
Understanding of US-GAAP and Statutory Financial Reporting
Familiarity with Reinsurance reporting
Ability to problem-solve and work well with team
