Compensation for this role: $80,000-$110,000 + benefits and unlimited PTO
Our client, a rapidly growing Insurance Brokerage is currently seeking a senior accountant to join the developing and dynamic accounting team. Now backed by a major PE firm, their product base is expanding, investments into technology are being made, and most importantly investments into their people are being made too.
As a Senior Accountant, joining this swiftly expanding Brokerage will allow you to work alongside major stakeholders to execute financial reporting, maintain a system of accounting records, and maintain controls to mitigate risk and support process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in the monthly and quarterly close process
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements that are accurate and produced in a timely manner in accordance with GAAP
- Support operational finance functions i.e., AR/AP, T&E, Compensation, Bank Reconciliations, Fixed/Intangibles Assets
- Work with external auditors and drive timeliness and accuracy of audit process
- Assist in the reconciliation and integration of acquisitions
- Actively contribute to strategic initiatives such as financial system implementations
- Research and resolve difficult accounting and reporting issues, take corrective measures to prevent
- Document proper accounting methods, policies, and principles to maintain and strengthen internal controls
