Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance catastrophe modeling techniques to evaluate and quantify risks.
  • Utilize advanced Catastrophe Modeling Software such as AIR to simulate and predict potential risks.
  • Manage catastrophe exposure using sophisticated data management and analysis methodologies.
  • Implement and optimize SQL-based solutions for data manipulation and analysis related to catastrophe modeling.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to refine risk assessment procedures and support decision-making processes.
  • Ensure accurate and actionable reporting of findings to senior management and stakeholders

Key Skills

  • Profound expertise in Catastrophe Modeling, including the use of industry-standard software such as AIR.
  • Strong proficiency in Catastrophe Modelling Exposure Management to quantitatively evaluate risk exposures.
  • Advanced knowledge and practical application of SQL for effective data analysis and reporting in catastrophe modeling.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex data in clear terms.
  • Preferred: Usage of R and Python in GIS mapping
