Due to continued financial success, our client is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join their growing team on a full time basis. After being acquired by multi-billion dollar group, they benefit from substantial financial backing whilst maintaining an entrepreneurial culture. You will be instrumental in building their Cloud Services from the ground up.
Duties
- Design new solutions for cloud (AWS & Azure) computing and automation
- Ability to plan, design, and deliver new cloud deployments
- Work closely with managed service providers to deliver optimal cloud services
- Contribute to technology strategy and roadmaps around cloud and automation platforms
- Identify and drive opportunities to improve automation for deployment, management, and process execution.
Experience
- Comprehensive understanding of various Azure and AWS services including Virtual Machines, App Service, Storage, Networking, Active Directory, Functions, and more.
- Windows and Server Management: Proficient in Windows administration (DNS, DHCP, File Services, ADFS, Storage Services, Public Key Infrastructure, PowerShell), Windows Security, and Baseline Management (GPO). Experience in server configuration, maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting with platforms like Windows Server, Linux/Unix, VMWare ESXi, or Hyper-V.
- Active Directory Management: In-depth expertise in managing Active Directory environments, including user management, group policies, domain controller configuration, and security.
