Oliver James has partnered up with a leading global financial services provider, committed to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional customer experiences. My cleint is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to enhance their CI/CD processes and cloud infrastructure across GCP, AWS, and Azure.
Job Summary:
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will ensure the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our development operations. You will collaborate with software engineers, system administrators, and stakeholders to design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
CI/CD Pipeline Development:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, etc.
- Automate deployment processes for smooth application delivery.
Cloud Infrastructure:
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on GCP, AWS, and Azure.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Containerization:
- Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ensure high availability and scalability of services.
Security and Compliance:
- Implement security best practices and ensure industry compliance.
- Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.
Collaboration and Support:
- Work with development teams for seamless integration and deployment.
- Provide technical guidance to junior DevOps engineers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues.
System Administration:
- Manage and maintain Linux-based systems.
- Ensure system reliability, performance, and availability.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
- 5+ years in a DevOps or related role.
- Proven experience with Jenkins, Git, GCP, AWS, Azure, Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Skills:
- Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Certifications:
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Google, Azure) are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Financial services industry experience.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
