Your Mission:
As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for transforming user stories into innovative product features. You will work on a variety of projects, ranging from sophisticated backend applications to fully developed web portals and mobile applications. This position is a bridging role which will allow you to quickly become a Team lead and/or an architect.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and Maintain: Create, test, and improve our systems to meet the specific needs of our ever-evolving company.
- Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with project managers, UX designers, developers, analysts, and key users to ensure superior product quality.
- Optimize and Propose: Challenge user stories and propose alternative solutions to maximize efficiency while maintaining business value.
- Ensure Quality: Perform rigorous unit tests and apply best practices to ensure the quality of our projects.
- Learn and Evolve: Stay at the forefront of technology by participating in continuous training and updating your technical skills.
Desired Profile:
- Interpersonal Skills: You are open, honest, autonomous, organized, and proactive. You are a team player and capable of managing complex projects.
- Technical Excellence: You have expertise in Java, Neo4j, Kubernetes, DBT, and Trino. You have a deep understanding of programming languages and Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Varied Experience: You have significant experience in developing diverse software and the ability to use multiple development languages.
- Languages: You possess expert-level English proficiency and Dutch.
- Tools: You have experience with Jira and Confluence.
