💸 Salary: €5,500 based on a 36-hour week, excluding holiday pay and a 13th month
Are you a seasoned professional passionate about creating robust and reliable technology implementations? We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Architect who can objectively assess and review our application landscape to ensure it meets the highest standards of resilience. If you have a strong analytical mindset, deep knowledge of architecture and resilience designs, and a proven track record in architectural reviews or design, we would love to hear from you!
About the role:
As an SRE Architect, your primary responsibility will be to evaluate current application implementations, identify any weaknesses, and propose concrete solutions. You'll work closely with engineers, review technical documentation, and communicate effectively about the best strategies to maintain resilience and improve reliability.
Key technical skillset:
- Extensive experience with Linux (RHEL) or Windows.
- Strong SQL knowledge, with familiarity with RDBMS databases (Oracle, MS SQL) or NoSQL (Cassandra).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD standards, ideally with Azure DevOps.
- Experience working with monolithic application landscapes.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Hands-on experience with message-based technologies (e.g., IBM MQ or Tibco EMS).
- Expertise in designing distributed application landscapes.
- Proficiency with monitoring and alerting tools (experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK is a plus).
- Familiarity with SRE concepts (SLI, SLO, error budgeting, availability reporting).
- Ability to connect effectively with both consumers and engineers.
- A problem-solving mentality with strong communication skills.
- Capability to collaborate effectively, while standing firm on critical technical decisions.
- Experience in heavily regulated industries (like banking) is highly desirable.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of IT security principles.
- Experience with containers and cloud tooling.
