Systems Engineer - Zug - Virtualization / Windows - 110,000CHF
We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join a growing IT team in Zug. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, delivering top-tier support, and sharing their knowledge with others.
The successful Systems Engineer will work closely with IT managers and end-users to ensure optimal IT solutions, while also mentoring junior team members and contributing to process improvements.

Core Responsibilities:
- Provide professional, on-site and remote technical support for customers, handling 2nd and 3rd level incidents.
- Analyse and resolve disruptions to customer infrastructures with a focus on efficiency, even with complex technology mixes.
- Identify optimisation potential, propose effective solutions, and discuss them with customers to improve their IT environments.
- Work closely with IT managers and end-users, ensuring customer requests are handled in a solution-oriented and professional manner.
- Act as a reliable, approachable contact for all customer IT matters, offering expert guidance and building strong, long-term relationships.
- Support internal IT initiatives with the same enthusiasm you bring to client-facing projects.
Ideal Experience / Background:
- Expertise in server virtualization (VMware), Windows servers (up to Windows Server 2022), Office 365, client management (Windows 11), Active Directory, group policies (GPO), and profile management.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills, with a calm and solution-oriented approach to high-pressure situations.
- Proven experience working in a collaborative team environment, with a customer-first mindset.
- Fluent in both German - English would also be beneficial.
