URGENT: Tech Delivery Lead - Claims and Ops IT

Position Objective

Act as the Technology Delivery Lead for one of five workstreams in the Claim Transformation Platform project, focusing on claim system revamp and migration to the Cloud platform.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Communication & Vendor Management

    • Liaise with business units (Claims, business BA) on solution design.
    • Manage vendor expectations effectively.
  2. Offshore Team Management

    • Oversee offshore teams to ensure successful delivery.
  3. Technical Leadership

    • Remain hands-on to challenge technical solutions from Offshore teams in China/India
    • Provide technical guidance and support.
  4. Delivery Management

    • Showcase experience in managing delivery and timelines.
    • Share insights from previous revamp projects to assist PM in timely delivery.
    • Conduct feasibility studies and solution design.
    • Prepare project documents and track project progress.
    • Conduct code and SIT reviews to ensure quality.

Financial and Non-Financial Measures

  • Meet objectives and deadlines while adhering to procedures.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of deliverables.
  • Gather qualitative feedback from user evaluations.
  • Maintain systems to meet stipulated SLAs.
  • Exhibit effective problem-solving skills.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Cantonese and/or Mandarin language skills
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant Technology-related working experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the insurance industry.
  • Claims or operational technology experience in insurance is a MUST
  • Experience with revamping projects is highly advantageous.
  • Expertise in full-stack development with ReactJS, Java EE, Spring Cloud, and Drools framework.
  • Solid experience with Azure Cloud technology.
  • Must have experience working in an agile environment, adapting Scrum/Kanban.
