Integration Engineer [Contractual] supports development services under the Integration Team. He is expected to
participate in the development and integrating different backend systems that the organization uses.
Helps to implement solutions which later coordinate the integration to link the dependency and business
processes amongst various software and IT systems.
Expected to contribute to the development and design of IT services and solutions.
Administration
- Conduct internal training sessions, develop procedures, and create documentation to ensure effective handovers, knowledge transfer, and smooth transitions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure the integration design and framework align with technical requirements, business processes, and system and hardware needs.
- Establish and implement integration strategies and methods in collaboration with the technical project lead and manager, adhering to timelines and deadlines using specified tools and scope of work.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to comprehend integration requirements, perform conversions, and assist in creating test plans and designs.
- Evaluate current systems to determine integration possibilities with future systems through simplified engineering and IT automation.
Desired Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Over 3 years of relevant experience in System Administration with a focus on scripting and integration.
- More than 3 years of experience using APIs to query and update data across multiple third-party applications.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with programming and scripting using Unix, Batch, and Python.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with file transfer or any Workload automation tool.
- Strong understanding of organizational, software, and implementation blueprints, as well as technical documents related to workflow processes and business process analysis.
- Basic knowledge of IT security and databases.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical team members.
- Strong analytical, documentation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and focus on tasks effectively.
- Teamwork-oriented mindset.
- Preferred but not required: Linux 101 and 102 certification.
- Preferred but not required: Experience with one of the following cloud platforms: Azure, GCP, or AWS.
