Overview:

Oliver James has partnered up with a leading Financial services company based in Dublin. Our client is looking to hire an Analytics Web Developer to join their team on a permanent basis. The Analytics Web Developer will develop and maintain innovative in-house web applications for the analytics teams. The role focuses on enhancing the custom analytical software, especially its market-leading exposure management, event response, and underwriting tools.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Certification in modern web development is advantageous
  • Over 3 years of web development experience, ideally with Microsoft technologies like Blazor, Razor pages, or MVC; readiness to learn Blazor extensively
  • More than 3 years of full stack development with Microsoft C# .Net, including ASP.NET core APIs
  • Over 2 years of experience with commercial datasets and contemporary data management tools, with a preference for MS SQL Server and Azure data technologies
  • Proficient in developing functional, user-friendly, and attractive UX/UI
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure components is beneficial
  • Ability to grasp and apply mathematical concepts; familiarity with the actuarial field (e.g., pricing, catastrophe modelling) is a plus
  • Capable of working in a dynamic and adaptable development environment
