Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Broker III to join our top retail client. In this senior role, you will leverage your industry knowledge and expertise to develop and implement tailored insurance solutions, negotiate policies, and build long-lasting client relationships. You will be responsible for managing complex accounts, leading a team of junior brokers, and driving business growth within the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, including businesses, individuals, and other stakeholders. Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance on insurance needs and risk management.
  • Policy Design & Placement: Develop and place customized insurance policies for clients, considering their specific needs and risk profiles. Ensure clients receive the best coverage at competitive rates.
  • Negotiation & Deal Structuring: Negotiate with insurers to secure favorable terms and conditions for clients. Handle complex policy placements and renewals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments for clients and recommend appropriate insurance coverage to mitigate those risks. Provide expert advice on loss prevention and claims management strategies.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the firm's client base. Source and secure new clients, and develop strategies to retain existing clients through exceptional service and value.
  • Market Expertise: Stay up-to-date on market trends, emerging risks, and changes in the insurance industry to offer the most relevant solutions to clients.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior brokers and staff, providing training, guidance, and support to help them develop their skills and grow professionally.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Oversight: Ensure all policies and transactions are compliant with applicable laws, regulations, and internal company policies.
  • Claims Management: Assist clients with claims submissions, serving as the intermediary between clients and insurance providers to ensure efficient resolution of claims.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular reports to senior management on client accounts, policy renewals, and market conditions. Analyze data to recommend opportunities for improving client service and internal processes.
