Have you ever considered moving to the beautiful Island of Bermuda? One of our insurance clients is looking to hire a Claims Specialist - Commercial Property for their growing Bermuda office. In this senior technical role, you will be responsible for handling mid to complex commercial property claims. Claims will include a range of commercial building types across real estate, hotels, restaurants and other medium/large commercial retail units. Extensive coverage and litigation experience within commercial property claims is required.
Key/Skills Experience Required:
- 4+ years mid to complex commercial property claims including wide ranging commercial buildings
- Direct experience handling complex commercial property losses above $100,000 in value
- Experience within construction and other property damage beneficial but not essential
- Exposure to litigation and coverage investigation essential (including writing own coverage letters/RORs)
- Extensive experience working in the North American claims market - essential
- Experience working within the Bermuda claims market beneficial but not essential
- Bachelors Degree and Adjuster License in multiple US states
This role is based in Bermuda and we can consider both citizens of US (that will relocate to Bermuda) and candidates already based in Bermuda. Please note this role requires immediate relocation to Bermuda so we can only consider candidates that are committed to make this move. This insurer will assist with relocation costs and provide a living allowance to assist with rent/living expenses. This role has an excellent base salary of $140,000 - $170,000 (negotiable) plus annual bonus and benefits. This role requires a hybrid schedule from the Bermuda office and fully remote working cannot be considered.
