Oliver James are delighted to partner with a growing international insurance business based in Dublin to recruit for a Finance Manager. This is a newly created role to support the business across a group structure.
You will primarily be responsible for the financial reporting and relationship management across the group. You will work with key stakeholders of the business to ensure the best outcomes of the business are achieved.
Other responsibilities are highlighted below;
- Leadership and mentoring, provide cross training to grow the support capability's across the business.
- Support in strategic initiatives and build and manage relationships of other group functions.
- Group finance tasks.
- Review and understand the preparation of IFRS financial statements
- Investment reporting
Experience required;
- Strong IFRS accounting knowledge (technical experience with IFRS 17 would be an advantage)/
- Multinational corporate reporting environment (consolidation and investment accounting)
- Ability to work in a fast paced and ever changing environment
