Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct rigorous internal audits focused on the company's financial operations within the insurance sector.
- Analyze and assess risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Leverage tools like SQL, Snowflake and Power BI to gather, analyze and interpret data supporting audit objectives and provide value-add insights to management. interperet
- Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate comprehensive audits and effective implementation of recommended changes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations to continually enhance audit practices and standards.
Key Skills
- Profound knowledge in insurance business auditing with a focus on financial audits.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field AND professional certification (CPA, CIA, CISA, etc.)
- Critical thinking skills and abilities to quickly pick up on complex subject areas
- Experience with analytical and visualization tools (SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Working knowledge of COSO, risk assessment techniques and internal controls
