The Regulatory and Statutory Reporting Specialist will ensure compliance with various regulatory requirements, including the Insurance Act and Income Tax regulations. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and assisting in the analysis of quarterly USGAAP results.
- Preparing and submitting MAS regulatory returns and quarterly GST returns accurately and on time.
- Supporting the preparation of management reports and liaising with external auditors and tax agents.
- Assisting in the preparation of IFRS 17 financial statements in collaboration with various teams.
- Participating in ad-hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or CPA/ACCA.
- 3 - 5 years of reinsurance experience or insurance/reinsurance experience in a Big 4 accounting firm.
- Strong understanding of Singapore Insurance Act and financial accounting standards; knowledge of IFRS 17 is a plus.
- Proficient in English and Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with Peoplesoft is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
